What you can shoot
Four separate areas, all on the same property.
- Rifle and pistol bays 40, 60 and 100 yard bays, for steel and paper.
- Long range Out to 500 yards.
- Shotgun Skeet and trap fields.
- Action bays Used for 2 Gun, GPA, PCSL and Cowboy Action stages.
Members aged 18 to 20 shoot rifle and shotgun on the same terms as everybody else. Federal law bars anyone under 21 from buying a handgun, or from possessing or controlling one without immediate adult supervision, so a member under 21 shooting pistol needs an adult with them at the firing line.
Most matches are open to members and the public alike, so you can shoot one before you apply. The calendar lists what is coming up.
Questions
Email the president at president@srpc.info or the secretary at secretary@srpc.info. If you would like to see the range before you join, say so — the gate is locked, so someone needs to meet you.
Finding the range
West side of Lake McMurtry, Stillwater, Oklahoma
The range has no street address and the gate is kept locked. Drive to the coordinates rather than searching for the club by name. The last leg is north on N3260 Road, turning off Bronco Road, where there is a club sign. N3260 dead-ends at the range about a quarter of a mile up, with the gate on your left.
